Speaking in a Company's voice


Considerations
Goal: What’s your (business) goal? What are you trying to achieve?
                Trying to show Razer’s recently inclusiveness to femininity with their products by including a quartz collection.

Situation: The situation I am writing for is this. List any key factors if needed: Many women and feminine people in general have felt left out by the brand in the past and Razer is trying to resolve the situation and become a brand for gamers, all gamers, rather than a specific niche of angsty male gamers.  

Audience
My Priority Public(s) is... Add any key info about them available to you: Women and feminine gamers who are often shamed within hyper-macho dominated communities. Gate-keeping is still a problem in “nerd culture” and inclusivity needs to be fought for. Both men and women often have to denounce femininity to be accepted.

So what? How does your idea relate to your reader? [Start this sentence with because…] Because an unfortunately many people have faced harassment at the end of hyper-masculinity due to gaming culture at some point, some even non-gamers. 


Objective: My primary objective(s) – what I want to achieve with this piece is/are: To show Razer’s humor and progressiveness while maintaining their edgy and technologically forward image.

·         New availability of pink products from a traditionally black item line
·         Expanded products targeted towards women
·         Pink products are the same price as non-pink (no pink tax)
·         Pink products have the same specs as non-pink
·         Naming scheme fits perfectly with other collections.
·         Collection is treated equally to the Mercury collection (white)

Key data points that support my argument are: (simply list them): Quartz line, outreach against harassment, call outs, no price increase or quality fall with the more feminine products.
